Alyson Thompson

Ally's practice focuses on litigation, including construction defect litigation.  Originally from Syracuse, New York, Ally moved to Austin to begin her legal career after graduating from law school in 2024. She attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for her undergraduate education where she received a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Intercultural Engagement in 2022. Ally also attended Duquesne University’s Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she completed the 3+3 accelerated J.D. program and received her Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Business Law in 2024. Prior to joining SSJM, Ally worked in the Tax Litigation Division of the Texas Office of the Attorney General. In her free time, Ally enjoys exploring Austin’s live music scene, spending time outdoors on the lake or the trails, and traveling to new places.
